ESSENTIAL OILS

It has a strong aroma of fresh roses, which can be described as sweet, floral,feminine, rich, warm, tempting, and intoxicating, but long-lasting. The top, middle and base notes of the oil are strong and it acts in synergy with other essential oils. 3. Rose concrete (Rosa damascena mill.)
Rose concrete is obtained by extracting of fresh, unpaired flowers of Bulgarian oil-bearing rose with an organic solvent. It is an orange-red wax-like mass with a characteristic aroma of rose and an absolute content of not less than 60%. It also contains various vegetable waxes,organic acids, trace elements, enzymes, tannins, and dyes. It is used mainly for the production of absolute, as well as in many cosmetics and perfumes. It has antiinflammatory, emollient, and regenerating action : added in small amounts to creams or lotions makes the skin smooth and fresh. Flower-rose, saturated and warm aroma placed on the pulse points has a long-lasting perfume effect.Rose concrete has a very diverse and rich composition-over 166 components, of which 30 are hydrocarbons.
